Brachter Wald - Family hiking trails
Brachter Wald is a nature reserve in Noordrijn-Westfalen, west of Bracht, on the high planes of the Maas. Elevation of this area varies up till 60 meters. Not that difficult but with perfect walking trails a nice family hiking area.
Rainy days - Van Nelle Rotterdam
This building is really suited for a nice Classic Chrome sunny golden glow, however, no sunshine to be seen this day! The grey dark weather did give a nice blue grey cast. Hate it or love it, somewhere it really intrigues me! Photos taken with the X-T2 and 18-55F2.8-4.
Visiting the Empese and Tondense Heide (with video)
This relatively new nature reserve is restored to it’s natural state to where it was, a flower rich wetland, almost sixty years ago. The restoration was done in the last couple of years where ditches were cut off and water was redirected. This meant that an agricultural land was transformed from grasslands to a more wetlands type of soil.
Berlin in Chrome
Oke, I'm a sucker for Classic Chrome. So I re-edit the some of the Berlin photos and the Berlin Tempelhof to a more abstract series. It's a serie of three, so this time a short one and a short blog. There is a reason for that.
Paris Revisited in Chrome
Since my previous post, Evenings in the Ardèche, I have been going through some previous shot Fujifilm photos. As my post processing and workflow are now adjusted to Fujifilm files together with much better Lightroom support, I'm rediscovering photos that I discarded earlier.
Evenings in the Ardeche
So last year we spend our vacation in the Ardèche in France. Ardèche is a département in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of south-central France. It is named after the River Ardèche and famous for the Chauvet Pont d'Arc and its cave paintings.
Better, Faster, Stronger in search of an ultimate, yet portable, bird photography setup
Recently I have been photographing small birds more and more and wanted more reach without resorting to the tele converter. So, I thought a bigger and better lens will solve my problem. There are many options, but in the end, there were only three options for me to test.
Broken to pieces - An urban exploration adventure
It has been a while since I did a photography trip with my good friend Marc Duiker. The last time we went to Iceland, see here, but usually we go to old abandoned buildings to do some urban exploring or urbex for short.
My first Dronie! The DJI Spark
I have been fascinated with aerial photography, not satellite, but real aerial photography. This was further fuelled by a hot air balloon trip I made years ago. However due to the limitations, obviously, I did not pursue it further.
