Revisiting street photography, where to start?

I really like street photography and did it quite a lot in the early days, just going out and seeing what can happen. The thing with street photography is the moment, being there and just do it! This is where I struggle, the moment, the people, the wait or being assertive. It’s hard, but can be rewarding as well.

When in Girona go cycling and take photos with the Sony a1 and FUJIFILM x100f

Time to get to Girona to do some cycling, although not bringing a camera is not an option. This week was about cycling, getting to experience the north of Spain and when possible do some photography as well. The main photography was done in and around Girona in the old town, which I stayed in. A bit noisy, but the place to be, although needed to carry the bike up the stairs every time.

EXPLORING SWITZERLAND'S GRINDELWALD - DAY 5+6 Panorama loop and last hike

The last one to rule them all. A long time in the making and it took way too long. The last one in the series of Grindelwald exploration. This time I combined the last two days as day 5 was an epic and long day (my fault entirely). The last day was a more relaxed day, as it was an easy walk downwards to the city center, however the day ended with an absolutely stellar shot (in context of that day). Nice!

EXPLORING SWITZERLAND'S GRINDELWALD - DAY 4 Jungfrau above the clouds

EXPLORING SWITZERLAND'S GRINDELWALD - DAY 2 & 3 Trying to go outside

So where did we left off the last blog? Due to construction at home, holidays and suddenly it becoming 2022 and the next lockdown, I get lost in my to do list. This one is far over due as well as the following days I spend in the Alpes in Switzerland. I’ll be short this one as day 2 and 3 where full of rain and mist. However still wanted to get some hiking done as siting inside in such a surrounding feels a total waste.

Exploring Switzerland's Grindelwald - Day 1 arriving

After 1,5 year staying in The Netherlands for holiday or just travel and travel photography I finally got to a point where I could plan (with all covid-19 measures in place) and go on a trip. The mountains were calling as I had the urge to see and experience mountains, hiking and views like I did two years ago in the Dolomites. See here in other blog stories. Man, I really liked the Dolomites!

When in Stockholm, go underground!

For my birthday my girlfriend told me to get to Schiphol airport and take clothes for the weekend. So logic dictates we would be travelling to a European city for the weekend or she was just pulling my leg and getting me to think we would go somewhere. Once there it became clear that we would go to Stockholm for the weekend.
