The hunter in a sea of green and yellow

Last Monday evening it was nice summer evening with exceptional yellow light, probably due to the humid air. So I could not resist to get my gear out in search of the Purple Heron. I have spotted at least one here (while other people have spotted several).

I took the Fujifilm X-T2 and the Fujinon XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with the 1.4x teleconverter with me. This time handheld shooting, no tripod, just me and my bike. I searched, but no luck.

However, I did find the more common Grey Heron! Hunting in the pastures for some fish in the nearby ditches. Due to the amazing yellow light and the green fields the photos have something special.
