Revisiting street photography, where to start?
I really like street photography and did it quite a lot in the early days, just going out and seeing what can happen. The thing with street photography is the moment, being there and just do it! This is where I struggle, the moment, the people, the wait or being assertive. It’s hard, but can be rewarding as well.
When in Girona go cycling and take photos with the Sony a1 and FUJIFILM x100f
Time to get to Girona to do some cycling, although not bringing a camera is not an option. This week was about cycling, getting to experience the north of Spain and when possible do some photography as well. The main photography was done in and around Girona in the old town, which I stayed in. A bit noisy, but the place to be, although needed to carry the bike up the stairs every time.
Above the arctic circle - Lapland Inari area
This was on our wish list for a while now. Travel to Lapland, above the arctic circle, experience the snow and the cold, the wide open space and nature. Also, snowshoeing, dogsledding, going out in the wilderness with snowmobiles had also something to do with wanting to go to Lapland.
Italian Dolomites Part 1 - Passo di Giau & Croda da Lago
Let me start with saying, I love the mountains! Especially the Dolomites. The colours especially, the grey and pink massive monolith rocks with razor-sharp edges and the patterns within the mountains. Since then, I have been there more than once.
I'm so nice, I bought it twice - The X100F meets graffiti
So I have a confession to make, I’m stupid and nice! In this particular case all of the above apply to me. I bought the X100F last year as an allround, easy to carry and excellent image quality camera. The one that you always have in your hand or at least near you. After the summer and winter started, I got the feeling the X100F just sat on the shelf, not doing anything.
Tuscany - end of summer
So end of last summer, yes these photos also took some time to edit, we visited Tuscany. We stayed right in the middle of the Chianti region, thus enough to eat and to drink. This was a family vacation, so not that much photography this time. However I took the Fujifilm X100F with me as a perfect travel companion.
