Short Zeeland visit with the family

It’s been quiet here and that is all on me. I have been busy catching Covid, cycling and work. During the summer I did not shoot anything special. It did not bother me, but now slowly seeing fall coming in and do some minor photography I can see how much I missed it. So I need to do more in October and see how I can benefit from fall here.

We were as a family on a short break in Zeeland here in The Netherlands. Zeeland is all about sea, sand and wind. A even flatter part of The Netherlands, but in its own right a charm. Especially with many (water) birds. Due to the heavy winds it was quite difficult to photograph, but I did (with the help of one of the family members) get a Rosse Grutto - Bar-Tailed Godwit (quite rare) and was really happy to get some sort of decent shot. Still not the perfect shot I would want, but at least a start. That start made me hungry for more - and that is a good thing!

So there you have it! All shot with the Sony combo! And don’t hesitate to leave a comment or an e-mail. Click to view larger in a light box and navigate with mouse or arrow keys. Enjoy!
