My second time at "Groene Jonker", grey weather but rewarding

The last time I visited "Groene Jonker" it was sunny and quite warm weather. This time around it was grey, windy and not so warm. In the end there was still enough to see and photograph. Especially the numerous aquatic birds that were present. My favourite of the day being the "Eurasian spoonbill" and the "Ruff".

This time I took the Fujifilm X-T2 and the Fujinon XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with the 1.4x teleconverter with me. I took the monopod with me, as this makes the camera and lens a more stable platform for photographing. I though this would limit me in my movement, but the monopod is the MeFoto tripod converter to a monopod with the Arca-Swiss quick release still being operational. So in the end, stable and flexible.
