Italian Dolomites Part 4 - Tre Cime di Lavaredo

The fourth and final post of my Dolomite trip back in September, times flies. They say save the best for last, the previous three post you can find here first - second - third, so I did and boy this was the best day of the week. Tre Cime di Lavaredo did not disappoint, however I expected or wished for a more spectacular sunset.

Italian Dolomites Part 3 - Lago di Braies, Cascate di Fanes & Passo di Giau

The first half of this bog is about Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee) and the idea to take multiple photos from different viewpoints. However the weather and the crowds (it’s a very populair place) made me decide to go and explore the forest around Cascate di Fanes. This turned out to be an interesting hike and climb!

Italian Dolomites Part 2 - Passo Falzarego, Fedaia, Sasso Lungo & Seceda

After the first days with mist and rain, this day seemed promising. It was cold, clear-ish sky and a good forecast. This meant, time for sunrise! The sunrise under Lagazuoi at Falzarego pass was the best option from the location where I stayed. Photographing Cinque Torri and the surrounding mountains.

Tuscany - end of summer

So end of last summer, yes these photos also took some time to edit, we visited Tuscany. We stayed right in the middle of the Chianti region, thus enough to eat and to drink. This was a family vacation, so not that much photography this time. However I took the Fujifilm X100F with me as a perfect travel companion.

Snow and the hunt for foxes - Waterleidingduinen

Here we are again, winter and it’s snowing. The whole country is in chaos, traffic jams up to 2300km in total last evening. However I can only think of one thing! Get out and shoot the next day, in search of foxes in the snow. So let’s go to the dunes, again. Nature here I come.

Full autumn colours in the forest - Speulderbos

This year I was ready, mid autumn with full colours of the forest trees and leaves, because every year I seem to just miss the ideal few days where the colour is at its best. This year (2018) we had a particularly warm autumn, meaning that the trees kept their leaves much longer, so I was especially lucky.
